swift is sluggish, and way behind to spark in ride and handling

I am a qualified test driver. I have driven both cars, swift is sluggish, and way behind to spark in ride and handling.
Spark rocks, and is very stable even at 150 KM/hr, while swift starts shaking little above 110. Braking, A/Con, seating comfort is very deluxe in spark.
Key point:
please do not compare cc of engine, compare bhp/cc and spark is ahead.
Also swift may look like big from outside, but it is smaller than spark from inside,
And above all:
If you have driven earlier Matiz, you will never miss to buy Spark.
Spark we welcome you, the original one, not copied one like SWIFT, which is copied from BMW minicooper. Japs have dirty habit of copying from west.
Wake up Maruti

Orangie Spark

I am seriously planning to buy Orangie Spark.

spark has more interior space compared to swift

i seriously do not believe that spark has more interior space compared to swift.
and it’s the south korean companies which excel in copying. and they copy everything from japanese cars to american cars to european cars.

Really Matiz is a fantastic car

Hi,
Really Matiz is a fantastic car. It’s driving is like anything which I can’t explain it. Without knowing driving, I just purchased the car and trailed the driving environment for just half an hour and I directly entered high way and drove back to my Home place which is 200 Kms. Really it’s an adventure in my life. It’s thrilling…….
After that I had experienced many cars to drive … Indica, Zen, 800 .. but the driving is not so good compared to that of a Daewoo Matiz… Really it’s so good. Even the car very much spacious which we will not imagine looking it’s cute shape. It is more spacious than all the small car’s in the Indian Market…….Presently my Matiz is giving 18Kms. in long drives …….
Hoping all these will be in Chevrolet Spark and with a little bit improvement in the mileage too ……
I am looking to exchange my Old Matiz with New Spark if all sets…

Though the car looks visually appealing

Though the car looks visually appealing, it lacks when it comes to performance. The steering is a bit hard and the engine is not as powerful as the car kit looks. If the price was much lesser, then, yes. But at the price it is selling, i guess you would rather buy an Aveo wich offers more space, or a Honda City for that matter, cedia, baleno or a couple of other good ones. I guess the sales figures speak for itself.

I got the mileage of 14.5 in delhi with AC

I got the mileage of 14.5 in delhi with AC…
And on highway i have got 18 KMPL…
And i guess it is more than any B segment car….Except Alto…and the others more or less remains the same!!!

I have my Swift for 12 months now.

I have my Swift for 12 months now. Before the swift I have owned a Baleno for 7 years, the best car I have ever had, very confortable, practical, good in handling and on highways, and very economical.
In that seven years I have had a Mitsubishi Lancer, a Suzuki Ignis and a Suzuki Liana on lease also, right after eachother, The baleno was that best of all and better than the swift too.
I like the Swift for it’s handeling and it is very economical but not as comfortable as the Baleno. I would suggest the Swift to anybody who is looking for a practical sporty and good looking car but if your looking for a car that will be comfortable for longer rides, i wouldn;t buy the swift.
I keep in consideration though that the baleno is a bigger car than the swift, but compared in capability on the road, they are very similar.
I’ll be selling my swift soon unfortunately, I’ll be going back to a bigger model and the 1st in line is the ‘08 Mitsubishi Lancer.
