commercial production of the Air Car

For couple of years, I am waiting for the commercial production of the Air Car? Unfortunately no news about that for years? When will it happen? Did they pass some kind of EuroNCAP crash tests? It is very exiting to travel on an Air Car, but is it also a safe car to travel inside it? Does it have some air bags? I hope - yes, if not, in such a light car we might be in danger!
