Don’t worry people,we would rather go in for an ex-European Car Of The Year (in 2005),which is Italian and styled by Giugiaro.This car looks stunning(much better than this Japanese hatch),and we can pick up the top-end model in red.
You got it right.Am referring to the Grande Punto.
Otherwise we have the Swift,Ritz,Logan,Fabia,SX4,Dzire,Linea,Fiesta,City….so many of them.
In my opinion,5.5-7.5 lakhs for Jazz should have been much more sensible.Honda is just being overconfident and it will have to revise the price.
Remember Hyundai Elantra?It was launched as the performance sedan and after all that hype,it faced a massive price cut.

hi i have been waiting for this car for a long time because first reason is that it is associated with the brand name honda i would like to buy this car cause it’s features are excellent and interior is damn good like no other hatchback car provide but the main minus point is that the car is priced too high to compare the other premium hatchback cars like Hyundaii20, Skoda Fabia. It should be priced between 7 to 7.20 lacs otherwise this would be the biggest flop.

I bought Spark LT in 2007. I’ve done almost everything I can to maximize mileage of my car. The best average I got was 23kmpl with A/c on highway. The car is great, feels good to drive, and looks nice. The pickup, ac, handling, average etc are way too better than Zen Estilo and Hyundai Santro.
As mentioned by Kannan, I also face with this annoying noise from the rear suspension. I feel it is because either suspension is too hard, I even got my shock absorbers replaced under warranty, but still the noise remains the same on bad roads. Other problem which I face is at times I get static current. I also have some problems with the tyres. They are bad, cheap made.
Even with a few demerits, Spark is the best car in its class.

I’ve booked a Swift Dzire after test driving all other cars within the same comfort and price ranges and also after a great research work. I also have a Maruti 800 for last 8 years. I am disappointed that in Oct 08 at the time of booking, there was a waiting period of 3 months (max) as told by the sales exec there, but a month later the waiting period has go up to 6 months. I seriously contemplate going for other cars which I have tried earlier such as Indigo, Logan or Ford. I hope the supply rate improves before my patience runs out.

I guess all the three cars ie Swift , Getz and UVA are great .. Commenting on either technology wise will be immature as i have done a pretty good homework on the three cars and spoken and read a lot of engine experts .. I still feel that the experts working in these companies would anyday be more intelligent than the critics .. becuase i guess very few people would actually understand the technical intricate details .. Mileage being the same (almost) what matters is the price difference . You can still save a good saving of 50 to 75 K on a UVA compared to a swift or getz. rest all go then on who likes the look of what.

The maruti being a domestic company era has gone … even a swift cannot be repire by a roadside machanic. I t is prettty complicated for small town mechanic to figure out what is happening. same with a hyundai or chevrolet. the small mechanic is restricted to maruti 88 only .

I had taken my vehicle to Rana Motors Wazirpur for servicing and wanted my points to be redeemed (I have appx. 2000 + points) but was told that the Citibank Autocard Swap Machine is out of order from the last 15 days and hence cannot redeem my points. In fact the machine has still not been installed till today as per Rana Motors.
I really see no point accumulating points on this card if the same cannot be redeemed at the right time. In fact the points which I was supposed to have earned while paying through my Autocard Credit card have also gone in the drain because of the malfunctioning of the machine.
I would request the concerned to have some exigencies plans made in case of such a breakdown and also to tell me if i can still earn the points since i had made the payment in cash.

I had been servicing all my Maruti cars from Autocraft, Kolkata-700060 since 10 years. I trusted that any parts replacement made by them would be MGP. Over the years they consistently supplied spare parts from United Sales Agency, 7 Ganesh Ch Avenue, Kolkata-13 who I presumed to be authorised suppliers of MGP. The payments for these spares were taken in cash on bills raised by the local vendor. They follow this practice for all customers. They never gave me back the old spares or showed me the MGP packets. I learnt recently that United Sales Agency is not authorised MGP dealer. There is a clear unholy nexus between this service centre and the local dealer. I have been cheated like many other loyal Maruti customers. Maruti company lost their sales and reputation. I have all the evidences to prove this malpractice and unscrupulous activity of this service centre. Please investigate the service charges for fitting of spares and why on those particular dates no MGP spares were procured from authorised sales point. Can it always happen that customers buy spares from outside to be fitted in the particular service station? I have evidences to prove otherwise if they resort to this desperate excuse. I am deeply aggrieved and also hold Maruti responsible for letting this happen over the years.

Does Maruti want to hear only a few good words of praises? I am afraid it will not be forthcoming. The market is flooded with fake “MGP” spares. The service centres are having a ball looting the customers and perhaps the Company has vested interest in turning a blind eye for short gains.

The Delhi Govt move to give subsidy is a welcome move. But they do not know that Reva Company has no ethics to pass the subsidy to the people. In Bangalore the basic on road price is 349705. This is including all taxes etc. when delhi govt is giving discount of 27.5% then the on road price should have been around Rs.253500/- However the cash hungry Reva is charging Rs.299000 from the gullible people of Delhi and this in no way going to help the consumers. Delhi govt should intervene and see that all the benefits are passed on to the consumer totally.

I have purchased SX-4 VXI - BEARING CHASSIS NO 101094 AND ENGINE NO – 1226342 from Gulzar motors ltd form Ludhiana, Punjab in the month of April 08.
In the rainy season the water enters into the base of car making the carpets wet. The problem was shown to the dealer on dated19.06.08 and the floor was dismantled to rectify the problem. The side seals were allowing water to enter the floor of the car.
After rectification ,the problem still remains with the car and the complaint has been lodged with the dealer today again.
The problem with the car has frustrated me because of lowquality products made by maruti and low level of competence of the dealer and i have wasted lot of time for the job and has lost faith in maruti products.i cannot daily go to the dealer for such problems.
AFTER SPENDING HEFTY AMOUNT OF RS 7 LACS I FEEL I M DITCHED BY MARUTI AND SHOULD HAVE GONE FOR OTHER BRAND VEHICLE.
On the day of visit to the dealer special request was made to ED of the company at mobile no-9814081945 for thorough checking but the resultant outcome is very poor. On the same day the complaint was also lodged with Chandigarh office, since somebody was there the call was received at reception and i was assured that somebody will call from the maruti office and problem will be sorted out but till date i have not received even follow up call from your office even.
Under the current scenario i feel harassed and loST faith in the esteemed organization like maruti and have put a question mark on the products and services offered. I FEEL I SHOULD DO A GOOD WORK BY TEELING PEOPLE ABOUT THE QUALITY OF SO MUCH ADVERTISED CAR
Should such a vehical be ever produced or have major problem if no then what is quality control team doing at maruti and if by chance then it is not accepatable because at maruti nobody is allowed to play with the harderned money of the customer and his sentiments. Such vehicals are bought because of passion. And what is the follow up with dealer network.
I have made two written complaint to gulzar for discrepancy in the service for overcharging and deficiency but the outcome is nil. Should such dealerships continue to work.
A strict action in the form of replacement / redressel is awaited form your end.

I agree with Guru regarding the mileage I own spark for last 6 months. I real situations, I am getting an avg. of 12.5 KM with 50% time AC on. And in non city rods about 14-15 with 50% time AC on. Not more than that. This is my first Car. But people say that most of the 1000 CC cars gives this much only. Is it correct?
The best part is it travelling comfort. Rough roads and gutters on the roads makes not much difference. I used to over take other vehicles while they negotiate the rough and bad roads.
You can drive in 5th Gear at a speed of 25 KM/HR, 20KM/HR in 4th gear. Also the car is beautiful and has got best look from back and small car look from front and sides.
Regarding service, I have not encountered any problem. In fact, I have got 3-4 telephone calls from GM offices (both local and headquarters) regarding the service at GM show room
The only sorrow I have got is the mileage. I thought I would get arount 17 KM while I zeroed in on Spark

Does any of you going Ga-Ga over spark actually owns it? The real world mileage is 12-13 kmpl, santro and wagonR both leave it to dust in terms of acceleration, and there’s no resale value.
GM Service sucks, and I’m not finding any customers for my spark LT even for 2.75-2.8 lakhs (I’m willing to take a maximum hit of Rs. 120000 for my mistake), just 4 months after purchasing it.

This Shiva Motors for sure sucks as they are the most unprofessional people on planet. Let me clarify here, the Floor manager in the showroom, forgot his name, can’t stick to his words and is very rude. Also, I know the owner Amit”..of the showroom, did schooling from DPS, but is as a louzy entrepreuner as it could get. These are obnoxious arrogant people who should be sended to Andaman Nicobar jail and tortured there naked and apparently thrown to crocodiles.
They are messing up the name of Chevy. Customer support here in USA is great. If you have a problem, they will take responsibility and make sure it has been taken care of, but in India, they think that they can do whatever they feel like….They can’t even do a good paint job to match even 90%, whereas in the US, you can’t tell…take my words for this…..my brother’s Acura TL was hit twice and repainted and fixed, you can’t tell at all, even the pros. can’t..this is excellence in workmanship…I hope indians will one day hopefully start delivering quality, as all’s not $$$ in life, there is a thing called duty, responsibilty, ethics and dignity…which seems to have been lost to these dealers….
Well, i had real BAD experiences when i had an Optra and now Aveo U-VA, though both are great cars…though optra is owned by Suzuki in US and is Forenza by name. Chevy Aveo is same here…and is sold quite often …. but with a 15inch alloy rim…and tail spoiler as well…cool lil car !!!!!
